Duplicate content is a major issue when it comes to search engine optimization. Search engines like Google have the capability to detect duplicate content. How does it do that, nobody knows. I read it has a very sophisticated indexing engine with text matching or something like a duplicate filter. So every blogger or webmaster should bear in mind the consequences of duplicating contents from elsewhere. Writing a brand new content article takes times and creating a quality 500 word original article needs some planning like how to keywords are to be placed plus the content researching. That is why plagiarizing is often a way to solve the immediate problem.

There are tools available around to help people save time by rewriting an article so that the end article is an original one. There is even a $97 Wordpress plugin called WP Spinner to allow users to spin articles. I read that this is one of the best tools out there. Maybe you can check this one out.

Today let me introduce to you a free article spinner site. It is called BadArticle. There is nothing bad about this one. I have used it a few times and I think it is fantastic. You can only use this tool on IE 6+ browser with MS Word as it needs ActiveX component to run though.

Simply copy and paste an article you wish to spin, go to BadArticle, paste at the “Original Article and Options” tab, choose one of the 3 rewrite methods, then Spin Sentences for better rewrite effect, and click on the “Blah, Blah, Blah..” button to spin it. After a few seconds a brand new article will be display.

As you know it, the rewrited content may be rather out of place to the extent of being unreadable, depending on which rewrite method you choose. Hence you have to make some word tweaking to make it more readable.

Overall this is a great tool and it saves a lot of time for bloggers and webmasters.
