Online file sharing and hosting that is free, speedy and require no registration
One of the best online file sharing website out there today is this one called Mediafire. I’m not sure if you have heard of it. If you do, glad you know it way before me, and it’s not too late to discover the gems. It is this kind of online services that make thumbdrives redundant sometimes if you have access to internet most of the times. If you are a digital camera buff and you take uncountable number of photos and you need a place to store them online, Mediafire is the best place for you. Just forget about others!
First of all, what I like about Mediafire is its ease of use and interface for lazy guys like me who simply dislikes registering for another internet account. Straightaway at the home page of Mediafire, you can upload your files, without any upload limits for the number of files! Yes, that means you can upload every files in your 100GB harddisk. The only downside is each file size is limited at 100MB which is insufficient for that DixV videoes but decent for most run-of-the-mills multimedia files.
Try uploading a file through Mediafire and you’ll soon realise that there is ample bandwidth here for a speedy upload. At my location here (Singapore) which does not have the fastest broadband structure around compared to other Asian countries like Taiwan, Japan, Korea or China, I still get a decent 200kpbs or so speed.
Well, what I like about it is that it does not require registration in order for you to use its features. One can upload files and share contents anytime. Or you can store frequently used files here so that you do not have to carry files around in your pocket drives. Mediafire provides an option for one to register for an account for better control of the uploaded files.
So much being mentioned so far, one important point to note is the Mediafire does not provide direct link to the uploaded files. The files are accessed via a randomly generated url for sharing among interested parties. That provides more security too. Also there is no way one can search for the contents and files stored as this is not a search engine. The purpose of its existence is to share files in an easier way.

However, the files stored here can be embedded to blogs or websites or social network sites like Facebook. This allow anyone to share their files to anyone in their network or blog visitors.
In conclusion, mediafire is highly recommended. It deserves a place in your bookmarks!
