Today I’d like to introduce a great web storage service which I use regularly to do short term backups. It’s like using an online email account. Important files I saved on the run are uploaded to Box.net and when I reach home, I’ll download them to my computer.Yes I can use a thumbdrive for that but I have a big dislike to carry so many things around with me when I’m going out and due to the fact that I really have high tendency to misplace stuff.
Right, I’m very pleased to drop a post there to tell you friends who chance by my blog that I have successfully upgraded my Wordpress to version 2.3.2. Previously I was using 2.2.1. This is the first time I had done a Wordpress upgrade. I’m glad that I followed word by word through the official Wordpress upgrade guide, although it certainly looks very intimidating with a lot of technical words and jargons. After going through the whole process, (I spent about two hours to complete the whole process) my advice is that just print out the page and follow it closely and you should be fine. It’s really not that tough. It is highly advisable that you do a database backup first.
