Link exchange with other sites in my opinion is still a good technique. I have use this technique regularly on my other sites with relatively good results. Of course, it is not a fast process as you need to contact the webmaster and wait for them to include your link before the whole process is completed. Very often, you may have to wait a few months to hear from them, therefore, sometimes it is advisable to email the webmasters about your link requests.
Just send an email to the webmasters with your URL, site name, your site description and the URL where you have added their sites. It is also good to explain why by exchanging link with you is a beneficial act to them. Remember to be friendly in your tone and most of the webmasters will be happy to exchange links with you. It is important to take note that you only exchange links with sites that are similar or relevant content as your own site.

Keywords at the meta tags used to have a lot of influence (the prehistoric internet period…) in the way search engines place their site rankings. Meta keyword tags were a great little tool for the search engines to use to help them determine how to rank sites in their search results. When the engines’ databases were small, this meta tag was a quick, easy method to help decide which keywords might be important on a site.
But not anymore, especially now is 2007. Google definitely does not look into keywords at the meta tags. There are discussions out there that suggest Yahoo and MSN search engines still place some points in the meta tag keywords. Anyone can confirm this?

I’m right now in the midst of planning for my year end vacation. Inundated with all sorts of hotel offers via credit card mailings and media advertisements, I decided to check online to find out what I can find in the virtual world.
Not surprisingly, there are some good online booking sites for people who need to travel overseas. Call me a person who is out of the touch, this is the first time I have used such online hotel booking service. This is despite I have extensive internet experience! Unbelievable?
