Having a blog but without being noticed by search engines is a very sad don’t you think so? A blog’s purpose is precisely to share to the world about your life or knowledge in a particular niche. So that’s where SEO or search engine optimisation techniques will come in handy for you as you can optimise your blog structure so that it is easily searchable by the search spiders.
But wait.. doesn’t it make logical sense that we should do something that makes search spiders want to come to get the content?
There are two ways for that:
1. Create original content
Search engine just love fresh original content. By that I mean the content is not duplicated at some other sites word for word. There is intelligence in search engines nowadays that they are said to be able to detect duplicated content and they will relegate your blogs if they detect that.
2. Post regularly
By writing and posting original content regularly (the best is everyday), search engines will come to your blog everyday without fail because your blog has already caught their fancy. It means your blog is very important in their “logic” and your blog is “important”. It’s also fair to your blog readers because they will stop following your RSS feed when they realise your blog is not updated often.
As a serious blogger, it is your divine duty to create original content and post them regularly for the benefit of your loyal readership.
