Storm Codec allows your computer to play almost any video formats

storm codecThere are many video file formats around, so it could be a heachache to search for different codecs and drivers whenever you want to play some video files like RealMedia, QuickTime, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (DivX/XviD/3ivx, MP4, AVC/H264…), AC3/DTS, ratDVD, VP3/VP6, Indeo, XVD, Theora, Subtitles, OGG/OGM, Matroska….and others. It is really annoying to know you have just spent last 3 hours downloading a 600MB movie file yet your windows media player gives you error when you are trying to play it. Recently I just downloaded a Champions League match encoded in HD Xvid video format and I tried to install some codec driver but it was not able to help me.

In the end, my dearest who is quite an internet expert herself recommended to me this codec pack called Storm Codec.

After installing this storm codec, my Xvid file magically plays under Windows Media Player in its HD clarity view and sound. That’s why if you have woes with any video file format, download and install storm codec. Mostly it will solve you problem and make your computer compatible to play any video formats out there at this moment.

Do take note, there are some comments saying that it contains spyware or adware, so it is good that you update your spyware check and run a scanning on your computer after you have installed storm codec pack in your computer. Personally, I ran a scan with AVG and A Squared malware scanner but no malware was detected. But just to be save, do a scan just in case…

So enjoy your downloaded video files :)
