The World Runs for Charity
In around 70 days, the World will witness an highly unique event that promises to bind different races, cultures and religions together! All will come together to do a charitable deed to raise funds for three international charitable organizations. With such a sacred intention in mind, this universal charity event, called The Nike+ Human Race 10K, definitely has attracted a lot of media attention and publicity in all participating cities - a total of twenty five cities from different continents…..What makes this event so unprecedented is that the whole world will run with you, meaning different cities will set off their own run in different timings, but the whole event worldwide will happen exactly on 31st August 2008 irregardless of the time zones.
So there you are, you can help out in the charities like WWF, ninemillion.org and Lance Armstrong Foundation and at the same time, having a good time running and working out your bodies en mass with the rest of your fellow countrymen and millions around the world, and of course, under the name of the world famous sports company, Nike, which I think through this mega publicity stunt, will enhance its already famous name to more far corners of the world.
