You can find out the age of a webpage easily..
It is agreed that age of the website is one of the many factors that could determine the ranking of your page in search engines. No one knows how important the age of website is in the eyes of the search algorithm, but it could be substantial because it is naturally logical to assume that a website that is ten year old would be more authoritative then a one year old website, both being in the same niche, as search engines may view that the older site has stood the test of time and therefore it is should be given preferential treatment.
With this in mind, SEO specialists do like to check the age of the website they are optimizing and those rival sites. It gives a rough gauge of the effort needed to overcome this age handicap. There are many ways to check age of the website. One common way is to go to whois-search.com where it will show you the creation date and expiry date.
